Our Lodge and Program Managers are the people on the scene at Alaska Wildland Adventures. These are the folks who make sure each and every experience you have with us is special and unique. This team is friendly, hardworking and committed to providing you with the best Alaska Wildland Adventures has to offer.

Harrison Brown, Alaska Adventures Program Manager
Harrison is a seasoned Alaskan guide with a passion for adventure and over a decade of experience in the tourism industry. His Alaskan journey began in 2014 when he embarked on a remarkable bicycle expedition across the rugged landscapes of Alaska. This transformative experience ignited Harrison’s deep connection with the untamed wilderness and the warm-hearted people of the region, inspiring his dream to live and work in Alaska. After years of guiding multi-week trips across the country, Harrison has made Alaska his permanent home. We are fortunate to have Harrison’s support overseeing many aspects of our Guided Adventures program, including mentoring and assisting our field guides throughout the summer. In the winter months, Harrison follows his fascination with the aurora borealis as an aurora guide based in Fairbanks, tirelessly seeking those mesmerizing displays of nature’s brilliance.

Chance Greenwood, Basecamp Manager
After leaving Seattle in late 2020, Chance set off to pursue her interest in travel and wine education. The 2021 summer season was Chance’s first season with Alaska Wildland Adventures as Lodge Coordinator, taking on the role of Food and Beverage Manager the following year. Since then, she has traveled to Oregon and Australia for multiple wine vintages, explored the mountains of New Zealand, received a scuba certification in Fiji, skied the mountains of Idaho and has supported remote operations in McMurdo Station, Antarctica. As much as she loves spending her winters traveling around the southern hemisphere, summer in Alaska has provided pure joy. We’re fortunate to have Chance’s varied talents at the helm of our Basecamp operations!

Kaitlin Huskey, Kenai Backcountry Lodge Manager
Although a California girl at heart, Kaitlin has made her mark in Alaska, having held every position at our remote Kenai Backcountry Lodge since 2012, from hospitality to guiding and now leading up our crew as Lodge Manager. In addition to her talents keeping the lodge running smoothly, she’s also attained her 25-ton Inland Masters License, after spending much quality time on the waters of Skilak Lake and in Resurrection Bay near Seward. She feels lucky to spend most of the year in Alaska but spends part of the winter in Chico, CA where she attended college. One of her favorite Alaska memories was a kayaking and backpacking trip last year to Skilak Glacier, where she got engaged.

Lily Murolo, Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge Manager
Lily grew up in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts and has always been interested in the travel and hospitality industry. While attending college at the University of Vermont, she worked for many years in local restaurants. After college, Lily set out to travel and caught the “seasonal worker bug.” In 2016, she began her first job in Alaska at a heli-ski resort in Valdez and fell in love with the natural beauty of the state. Shortly after, she spent her first summer at Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge starting in the hospitality department. While seasonal work has brought her to many stunning corners of the world – Hawaii, Oregon, Colorado, and Southeast Asia to name a few – Aialik Bay (near Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge) has truly captured her heart. After five seasons of working out at the Glacier Lodge – three of which in the Lodge Management role – she is proud to work for an inclusive, environmentally responsible and supportive company that genuinely cares for its employees.

Layla Warren, Boathouse Manager
Layla grew up on the water in Florida. During college she explored the East Coast with a backpack and started working for REI. Between teaching classes and outfitting customers with proper gear, she found joy in sharing her knowledge and passion for the outdoors. In 2019 Layla and her adventure cat, Cleopatra, set off in a converted van to travel and guide around the US. Some of her favorite experiences have been leading hiking tours on the historical Chilkoot Trail, driving Pink Jeep tours in Sedona and kayak guiding at a zoo. She now lives full time in Alaska, chasing the auroras in Fairbanks during the winter and rafting the Kenai in the summer. This will be her fourth season at Kenai Riverside Lodge.
