All-Inclusive Fishing Trips
Welcome to the Kenai Riverside Fishing program at Kenai Riverside Lodge, your destination for incredible Alaska fishing experiences. Kenai Riverside Fishing is part of Alaska Wildland Adventures, a long-time operator of guided fishing trips since 1977. We fish from early June through late September, and our trips explore the world-famous Kenai River for freshwater species, like silver salmon, sockeye salmon, rainbow trout and Dolly Varden. We also offer special fishing offerings inside Resurrection Bay for halibut, king salmon and silver salmon. Whether you are a seasoned angler or a first time fisherman, we’ll put you on the fish!
Amazing Fishing Opportunities
With over a million salmon returning to the Kenai River each year, we’ve picked up a thing or two about their favorite haunts. While we focus on the upper Kenai River and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, our guides follow the fish from the time they enter the river all the way to their resting place. Sockeye, silver, and rainbow trout fishing ebbs and flows across these 82 river miles, and our guides have a knack for the when-and-where that makes fishing the Kenai so spectacular. Optional upgrades to fish for halibut, silver and king salmon in Resurrection Bay out of Seward are an awesome saltwater fishing experience with incredible scenery and wildlife viewing as a bonus. Our guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and will outfit you with top-quality fishing equipment and gear to maximize your chances of fishing success!

Your fishing home base is Kenai Riverside Lodge, located on the upper banks of the Kenai River in Southcentral Alaska. Kenai Riverside Lodge is in the heart of some of Alaska’s most productive fishing country. We are two hours south of Anchorage in the scenic town of Cooper Landing, Alaska.
Our newly renovated log lodge is the perfect place to enjoy a fine meal and trade stories at the day’s end. Cozy guest cabins are nestled in the trees surrounding the main lodge, each exhibiting the rustic charm of an Alaskan pioneer cabin (as well as the modern comforts of heat, electricity and a private bath). Cabins also feature private front porches and Adirondack chairs. Only a few paces away from your cabin door, you’ll find the upper Kenai River – the best in sockeye salmon, silver salmon, rainbow trout and Dolly Varden fishing.
In addition to trophy fishing with our expert guides, there will be many opportunities to relax with a pint of Alaska micro brew or a glass of wine in our lounge. After dinner, many guests gather on the spacious riverside deck to trade fishing tales or relax in the wood-fired sauna.
Delicious food is an integral part of your vacation experience, and we work hard to ensure it’s a phenomenal one! Our chefs return year after year, and they put time and love into every meal. We can accommodate food allergies when made aware in advance.
Each morning, you’ll wake up to a hot breakfast buffet before heading out on the water. You might walk in to the aroma of hot blueberry pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit, coffee and tea. Your made-to-order lunch will already be on the boat. No need to worry about having enough coffee for these early mornings: your boat comes fully equipped with coffee, juice and other soft drinks, plus plenty of snacks for the rest of the day. In the evening you’ll come home to a four-course meal, served family-style in our lodge.

Alaska State Fish and Game Bag Limits
Alaska Wildland Adventures and Kenai Riverside Fishing strictly adhere to all regulations pertaining to restrictions, harvest, and catch and release limits of all fish species as mandated by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. From time to time, we may establish even stricter company policies with regard to catch limits and catch and release if it is deemed to follow best practices for the continued sustainability of certain species. In these situations, company policy shall supersede state regulations, and these policies may be implemented at any time, even during the course of the current season, depending upon the species and the situation.
We believe this approach is in the best interest of the conservation and perpetuation of Alaska’s fish populations and the surrounding ecosystem upon which fish species depend. Upon booking a fishing trip with us, you agree to comply with these policies.
